Clinic’s Energies: official audio and October 30 album guide
Clinic share Energies ahead of Wild In The Streets on October 30. Hear the official audio, use Ade Blackburn’s listening cues and separate the single from the album.
Clinic have shared ‘Energies’, a new single ahead of Wild In The Streets, which Domino lists for October 30, 2026. The label’s October 6 announcement links to the recording on Clinic’s YouTube channel, titled ‘Clinic - Energies (Official Audio)’. That is the direct listening route for this song, rather than a live performance clip. The new development is the single: Domino’s news page dates the earlier album announcement to September 2.
Ade Blackburn describes ‘Energies’ as having a ‘late night party feel’ and names Funkadelic, Carl Douglas and Cabaret Voltaire as reference points. Those are the artist’s comparisons, not a VibeHype review of the recording. For a first listen, try following the rhythm and then the melody, using his references as listening prompts rather than a promise that the track will sound exactly like any of those acts.
Domino places ‘Energies’ eighth in the album’s twelve-track sequence, between ‘Mouse Trap’ and ‘(It Was) Heaven’. If you want to hear how it fits into the record, return to that stretch when the complete album is released. Hearing the single now does not mean the full album is already available. The label calls Wild In The Streets Clinic’s tenth album; its page also points to Internal Wrangler, Visitations and Free Reign as earlier records to explore while waiting.
