Hamlet Hail to the Thief at the Barbican: performers, tickets and accessibility
Radiohead are not performing in the London production. With rehearsals in the news, here are the October 31 opening, official booking route and accessible performance dates.
Radiohead are not performing in Hamlet Hail to the Thief at London's Barbican Theatre. Thom Yorke has reworked the band's album into a score played live by the production's musicians and actors. The London season runs from October 31, 2026 to January 23, 2027; it is a theatre production, not a Radiohead concert.
NME published London rehearsal photographs on October 14. That coverage is the current news hook for this guide, not a new announcement of the run. The production website also carries a rehearsal gallery but does not state when it was published. The practical details below come from the venue's event listing and Access Scheme rather than the photographs.
For tickets, use the Barbican event page linked below; it is also the destination of the production website's booking button. The venue advertises standard tickets from £34, including a £4 transaction fee. It lists £18 Young Barbican tickets for people aged 16–29, subject to availability. When checked on October 14, the event page displayed ‘Checking availability…’. These are listed prices, not confirmation of seats at those prices, and VibeHype has not tested checkout.
For disability-access booking, start with the Barbican Access Scheme, not the Young Barbican discount scheme. Access Scheme registration lets bookers record their access requirements and book access tickets online or by phone. The scheme says booking fees apply. Free essential-companion tickets are for people who need that assistance; they are not a general two-for-one offer.
The event page says registered Access Scheme bookers should select at least two tickets for an essential-companion booking; one is then discounted to zero at checkout. For a wheelchair space, choose the wheelchair-user seat icon and ticket type. If an essential companion is needed, select the adjacent E icon. These are the venue's instructions, not a tested booking or a guarantee of an available space.
The venue lists a captioned performance on November 28, 2026 at 2:30pm; an audio-described performance on December 12, 2026 at 2:30pm, with a touch tour at 2pm; and a chilled performance on January 16, 2027 at 2:30pm. Those are London local times. Check the exact performance when booking rather than assuming every date has the same access provision.
The advertised running time is about 100 minutes without an interval, with age guidance of 14+. If the online access route does not meet your needs, the Access Scheme page gives the Box Office number, 020 7101 1188, and its contact options. The official pages are the places to confirm arrangements and availability before making travel plans.
