Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan’s expectations: video and version guide
The Chappell Roan version of expectations has arrived. Find its official video and exact streaming links, separate from Olivia Rodrigo’s original album recording.
Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan’s version of expectations is out, with an official music video on OliviaRodrigoVEVO. The release’s listening chooser links to the collaboration on Spotify and Apple Music, as well as its video. Those exact destinations are linked below so you can find the new version without landing on Rodrigo’s earlier solo recording.
On Spotify, look for expectations (feat. Chappell Roan), credited to both artists. Apple Music’s linked song page uses the shorter title expectations but also credits Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan. The separate original song page credits Rodrigo alone and dates that recording to June 12, 2026. The artist credits and exact links are more useful than the title alone when choosing between the recordings.
The official video is titled Olivia Rodrigo - expectations (feat. Chappell Roan) (Official Music Video). Its description links back to the collaboration’s listening chooser, which provides a video route to the same upload. Use that release-specific route rather than a teaser or a similarly titled fan upload; this guide does not describe scenes from the video or claim to have checked playback in every country.
The October 15 and 16 dates refer to different clocks. Rodrigo’s October 15 Instagram announcement advertised the song and video for 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. YouTube’s publication timestamp is October 15 at 5:00:10 p.m. in UTC−7, equivalent to October 16 at 00:00:10 UTC. Spotify dates the collaboration to October 16. These records do not indicate two separate collaboration releases.
Start with the listening chooser to select a service, or use the direct Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube links to identify the collaboration. VibeHype checked public listings and video metadata, not account-specific or worldwide listening access. The Apple Music link is the US storefront; service and location restrictions may still apply.
