Sleaford Mods’ Planet X deluxe: nine extra tracks and where to hear Cato
The Demise Of Planet X now has a 22-track deluxe edition. Find the nine additions, Sue Tompkins’ Cato collaboration and the official video without confusing the release with the original album.

Sleaford Mods have expanded The Demise Of Planet X with nine additional tracks, including Cato with Sue Tompkins of Life Without Buildings. Rough Trade announced the digital edition on October 15, 2026. Apple Music’s US listing dates the deluxe release to the same day and identifies 22 songs; its separate original-album listing has 13.
For listeners who already know the album, the added material begins at track 14, How What, in the Spotify and Bandcamp deluxe listings. Cato follows at track 15. Select the edition marked Deluxe rather than the original album if you want the extra recordings; the label’s official service chooser and the exact album links below lead to that edition.
In platform order, the nine additions are How What; Cato, featuring Sue Tompkins; Give ’Em What They Want; The Good Life (Alt Version), featuring BIG SPECIAL; Cheap Cheap Shit; There We Are Then; Armageddon’s Wi Me Now; The Return Of The Bin White Dukes; and Dr Who? The label’s announcement presents the same set in a different order, so its list should not be mistaken for the playback sequence.
This is an expanded version of The Demise Of Planet X, rather than a separate new studio album. Rough Trade describes the additional material as demos and previously unreleased tracks. The Good Life entry among the additions is explicitly an alternate version; it is separate from the recording near the start of the album credited to Gwendoline Christie and BIG SPECIAL.
Cato also has an official video, linked directly by Rough Trade and published on Sleaford Mods’ YouTube channel on October 15. Tompkins directed it, according to the label. The exact video link below is a separate route to that collaboration if you want to start with one song rather than the whole deluxe edition.
VibeHype checked the public album listings, track sequence and video metadata, not playback in every country. Apple’s link is the US storefront, and service access can depend on your account and location. Start with the official chooser for your preferred service, or use the exact Spotify, Apple Music and Bandcamp deluxe pages to identify the release before choosing how to listen.
